Essentially, a 3-piece version of Rubberband (dubbed by some, Rubberband-Lite). And they make a lot of noise for 3 guys. Yes, Chuck is the brother of Ben Folds; yes he just did a name drop; no, don’t ask him to forward your email address to Ben. CF5 is an energetic, high-output power trio...a little band with a big sound.
 
Made up of Chuck Folds(of course) on bass and screaming, Steve Williard on guitar and most of the good singing parts, and Tim Poole beating the drums and also singing some stuff....maybe better than Chuck, but not as good as Steve.
A fun, energetic, budget priced, professional, high-output power trio who is intent on making you pay attention to them while they are on stage. A bar band with a private party sensibility, and an original take on a variety of music ranging from classic rock to hip-hop. If you only have a guitar, bass, drums, and a few male voices you have to approach performing most songs in a unique way.
Steve Williard writes well-crafted and accessible rock n' pop with a southern flair.
So there it is, take it or leave it, love 'em or hate 'em. However, don't count this bundle of entertainment out until you let yourself be subjected to their brand of entertainment and music.
